We are pleased to announce that Harry Yates has been appointed a Trustee of the museum and will take on the role vacated by Mike Bridges as Museum Director (photo attached you might need dark glasses to deal with the glare)
Harry said that it is a difficult act to follow but a great privilege to be entrusted with the day to day management of this unique piece of our Industrial Heritage and such an important Scheduled Monument.
Harry brings to the task a background is in Domestic and Industrial Gas Utilisation, Network Distribution and Engineering Management which he hopes can guide the museum through a period of constitutional change and investment in the museum
